Mick Shannon Silver C Badge

Congratulations to Mick Shannon who completed his Silver C Badge. Mick used the club’s Ka8 to do two legs of the Silver Badge, the 50k distance and the 5 hour duration. The Silver Height Gain was achieved in 2019 at the Ulster Gliding Club.

Mick went to Bagenalstown and came back via Athy, over Kilrush airfield. He then did beats up and down between Kilcullen and Toughers in Newbridge to run down the clock to his 5 hour duration.
