Update April 2021

The current situation………..Dublin Gliding Club are still waiting on Government restrictions to be lifted and some normalisation to return. To this end, we cannot except non members to come and visit us and we cannot resume any Air Experience flights.

In late March and April, we have had the opportunity to allow for Instructors, Tug Pilots and Solo pilots to fly in order to keep their flying currency within the recommended guidelines. This is also to prepare for returning to flying when the Government remove Covid restrictions and will speed up the process for normal operations. During this time there has been a lot of work carried out to maintain our fleet of aircraft and this is due to the great effort of our dedicated members.

So we look forward to resuming normal operations soon and to welcome you back to our club when we can. Dublin Gliding Club would like to thank all our voucher holders and those interested in flying for your patience during this very difficult time. But the end of restrictions is hopefully coming soon.

Here are a few pictures of recent flights.
